Another year has come and gone, and we’re back for our annual Halloween tradition. You’ll note that this list is (once again) similar to last year. I’ve made a few more changes; to my list.
Removed:
- Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) – Cut to make room for another wildcard.
- The Evil Dead (1981) – I understand the importance of this film; it’s just hard to watch year after year.
- An American Werewolf in London (1981) – Every year I recalculate the ratings for the top 100 movies on my list; after the recalculation, this one didn’t make the cut.
- Evil Dead II (1987) – See above.
- Under the Shadow (2016) – Similar to An American Werewolf, this recalculation was far more dramatic.
