Without a doubt the most “colorful” member on this list. Milan Matulovic was a Yugoslavian GM made great contributions to the theory of the Smith-Morra Gambit. Perhaps he is best known as the guy who took a move back against Bilek in their now infamous game which earned him the nickname “J’adoubovic” (a play on the french word “J’adoube” which means, “I adjust”).

Many claimed that he threw his game against Mark Taimanov in Palma De Mallorca for a nominal amount of money ($400):
