In this game white had an advantage for the vast majority of the game, and was even close to winning.
3. FM Gator (2166) – Moncur (1689) 1/2-1/2
This is probably the weakest games of the upsets I’ve found thus far, but the achievement by Black I felt was notable. Let it not be said that I only pay attention to household names on this blog. Congrats guys this is your 5 minutes of fame. The game itself was a topsy turvy affair with both sides squandering advantages at different points.
